Kian is growing and thriving in the new apartment. He LOVES going to school and makes a mad dash for the bus when the bus comes to pick him up for school. He's making so many changes and getting so inquisitive about everything. The biggest thing right now is the Christmas Tree. He has taken it upon himself to try and un-decorate it a couple times because the glass ornaments are pretty and shiny and sparkly. He will however leave it alone when told a firm "no" and move onto something else. I still have to wrap his gifts and get them under the tree which I am sure will entice him even more but seeing the wonderment in his eyes when the lights are on and stuff is pure magic. He is gaining weight slowly but surely. I need to make a WIC appointment and get him back in that. One issue we have addressed with school is the "you hit, you sit" form of discipline. This seems to work well because he understands that sitting where he is put is a time out. He doesn't like it. He doesn't do too much more headbutting so that is a plus. He will start going to school three days a week after the Holiday Break which will thrill him to no end and give me some much needed Mommy time to get stuff done around the apartment. We are settling into a routine and he has seen his Dad a couple times this week since Daniel split up with his live in girlfriend. Kian needs his Daddy. I have made that VERY clear. Things got better for Kian and I both when I moved out of the house we had with Jeremy. I feel bad about putting Kian through the mental and emotional abuse I not only suffered but that he had to have suffered to some extent as well. You wouldn't know it though because Kian is the HAPPIEST and most LOVING little boy. I honestly couldn't ask for a better child. =)
